Orange County & NCDOT Highway <br />Division 7 and District 1 Meeting <br />November 19, 2012 12:00 p.m. <br />29 <br />Due to this request — Mike Nunn of BGMPO requested that no additional action <br />be taken on the Revised MOU until the TCC and TAC can discuss this request at <br />the January 15, 2013 meetings. Abigaile Pittman said that she had told Mike <br />Nunn that she have the final executed revised MOU on her desk and was getting <br />ready to send it to him and he asked that I hold onto it until the January 15th <br />BGMPO meeting. <br />Abigaile Pittman recounted that Mike Nunn had previously told her that Orange <br />County's estimated population in the BGMPO area was 605. Craig Benedict <br />stated that the 2010 population data was not used and he expected the County's <br />population number to be higher also. <br />h. NC Safe Routes to School Plan (Tom Altieri) <br />Notes: Nothing new to report, Greene Consulting assisted with the preparation of <br />several SRTS Action Plans across the State and submitted them to NCDOT, <br />Division of Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation, for its review. Orange <br />County's Plan is one that is awaiting review. The SRTS Coordinator with <br />NCDOT has been contacted for an update. <br />L Future County Jail Site (Frank Clifton) <br />County Manager Frank Clifton closed the meeting by thanking the NCDOT for <br />their assistance in evaluating possible access options and mitigation of impacts <br />related to future widening of 1 -85 adjacent to the future County Jail site. <br />0 <br />Return to Agenda <br />
