The study is being completed through a coordinated effort <br />among the Orange Unified Transportation Board(OUTBoard), Orange County planning staff, <br />Triangle Area Rural Planning Organization(TARPO),Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan <br />Planning Organization(DCHC MPO), and the North CarolinaDepartment of Transportation <br />(NCDOT).NCDOT Staff will attend the meeting to present the draft CTP and provide a <br />summary of the planning process. <br />WHAT IS THE CTP?:The CTP consists of a technical report (provided under separate cover) <br />andfour maps: 1) Highway (Attachment 1); 2) Public Transportationand Rail (Attachment 2); 3) <br />Bicycle (Attachment 3); and 4) Pedestrian (Attachment 4).There is also an Adoption Map <br />which contains the adoption details of the CTP (Attachment 5). It is not fiscally constrained and <br />incorporates local interests, community goals, and statewide needs in a common multi-modal <br />plan. <br />9 <br />ReturntoAgenda
