Preparation includes the receipt of new buses, hiring and training bus <br />operators and identifying potential route starting dates. <br />Park and Ride <br />x North Hills Park and Ride lease ended. Park and Ride users were redirected to Durham <br />Tech Hillsborough Campus. Routes ODX, 420, Orange-Chapel Hill Connector and <br />Hillsborough Circulator were revised to reflect the change. <br />Buses <br />x The last five (5) of seven (7) buses were received September 2015 and placed in service <br />October 5, 2015. <br />Employees <br />x Six (6) of seven (7) new bus operators (3 full-time, 3 part-time) successfully completed <br />the full 120 hours of training. <br />Route Start Dates <br />x Orange County Chapel Hill Connector (expanded service to Cedar Grove and hourly <br />service - 9:45am to 3:45 pm) began August 17, 2015. <br />The following route revisions and start dates are being reviewed: <br />x Efland-Hillsborough Commuter Loop (fixed-route) – requires revision with Park & Ride <br />change. <br />x Orange-Alamance Connector (US 70 Midday Service, fixed-route) – minor revision <br />required with Park & Ride change. <br />x Rural route-deviation service two days per week in each of three rural zones. <br />x Expanded Senior Center service. <br />. <br />,WHPF <br />25
