Attachment 1 <br />i.Received, reviewed and adopted the North Carolina Department of <br />Transportation (NCDOT) Success Plan. <br />j.Received an update on OPT becoming its own department at the <br />beginning of FY 2016-2017 with a new position of Transit Director to <br />be filled at the beginning of 2017. <br />k.Reviewed and recommended prioritization of OPT transit related <br />technologies. <br />l.Received and reviewed an update on the addition of Wake County to <br />the renamed Triangle Tax District and approval of the Wake County <br />Transit Plan and multiparty Interlocal Transit Agreement. <br />2.Reviewed and recommended Bicycle Task Force membership, charge <br />and initial term and forwarded to the BOCC for consideration and action. <br />3.Received and reviewed an update on the status of the Safe Routes to <br />School (SRTS) Plan. <br />4.Received and reviewed regular updates regarding NCDOT Division 7 <br />projects located in the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning <br />Organization (DCHC MPO), (Burlington-Graham Metropolitan Planning <br />Organization) BG MPO, and (Triangle Area Rural Planning Organization) <br />TARPO. <br />5.Reviewed the methodology for identifying and ranking new Transportation <br />Improvement Program (TIP) project requests for the DCHC MPO, the BG <br />MPO, and the TARPO. <br />6.Received and reviewed information regarding Orange County’s SPOT 4.0 <br />project lists and scores submitted by the DCHC MPO, the BG MPO, and <br />the TARPO and NCDOT for ultimate consideration of inclusion in the <br />2018-2027 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). <br />41
