<br /> <br />a. SF has a Neighbor Safety Grant. The 2018 grant applications will be <br />available beginning this Friday, September 1, 2017 through Tuesday, <br />October 31, 2017. SF also has a Neighborhood Assist Grant of $25,000 which is awarded to <br />40 winners. For the Good Neighbor grant, she says our <br />project is a fit, but we are extremely unlikely to be awarded a grant for one <br />reason - our project is limited to one county. Almost all the Good Neighbor <br />grants go to projects that have statewide or regional impact. She doesn't <br />see making the application a good use of our time. She strongly <br />encouraged us to pursue the Neighborhood Assist Grant next year. She <br />believes that if we can spread out virally from local bike organizations to <br />those outside our immediate area that we can succeed. <br /> <br />F.
