Administrative Issues – Meeting convened around 2:45 p.m. <br />1. Review of OUTBoard Bicycle Safety Implementation Subcommittee structure, <br />budget, and parties involved. <br /> <br />The group did a quick review of the OUTBoard approved Bicycle Safety <br />Implementation Subcommittee structure, budget, and parties involved (attached <br />to Notes for reference). <br /> <br />Abigaile Pittman passed out a Subcommittee membership list, and for reference, <br />a list of the prior members of the Bicycle Safety Task Force (BSTF) (both lists <br />attached to Notes for reference). <br /> <br />2. Election of Subcommittee Chair. <br /> <br />Heidi Perry made a motion to elect Art Menius Chair of the Bicycle Safety <br />Implementation Subcommittee. The motion was seconded by Alyson West. The <br />motion passed unanimously with a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />3. Meeting notes. <br /> <br />Abigaile Pittman stated that she would take Subcommittee notes. There was <br />discussion about how to handle the taking of notes if Abigaile was not able to <br />attend a meeting. The subcommittee members stated that in such a case they <br />would request that another staff member attend and take notes, or that the <br />meeting be rescheduled. <br /> <br />4. Budget oversight and administrative process. <br /> <br />Abigaile Pittman stated that she would coordinate with administrative staff on <br />how to proceed with securing funding requests for the Subcommittee. The <br />Subcommittee was given $10,000 from the General Fund and $5,000 from the <br />Visitor’s Bureau Occupancy Tax. Note: Follow up information is that any <br />amounts under $500 can be secured with a Purchasing Card (“P-Card”), and any <br /> 34
