OPT <br />is active within the industry and working with its partners in supporting outreach activities. <br />Below is an outline of completed and upcoming activities for review: <br />i.27 Feb 2017- Medicaid (NEMT) site visit: successfully passed site visit and <br />reauthorized to be a provider for Medicaid transportation. <br />ii.29 March 2017- TJCOG AAA Monitoring visit: successfully passed site visit, no <br />findings of concern <br />iii.11 May 2017- NCDOT Great Team site visit- successfully passed site visit, no findings <br />of concern. <br />iv.4-7 June 2017- Attended NCPTA Annual Conference in Concord, NC <br />v.9-11 October- Attending APTA EXPO & Conference in Atlanta, GA <br />vi.23-27 October - Try Transit Week <br />. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Budgeted items <br />SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goals are <br />applicable to this agenda item because public transportation provides opportunity for <br />access to jobs and services to many individuals. <br />•GOAL: FOSTER A COMMUNITY CULTURE THAT REJECTS OPPRESSION AND <br />INEQUITY <br />19
