Construct grade separation at <br />intersection of Orange Grove Road Extension and NCRR. <br />9 NC 54 and Neville Road Intersection <br />Improvements Improve the intersection of NC 54 and Neville Road. <br />10 NC 86 Improvements North of Hillsborough Widen NC 86 from U.S. 70 Bypass to north of NC 57 to four (4) lanes <br />with intersection improvements at U.S. 70 Bypass and NC 57. <br />11 I-85 from Mt. Herman Church to Durham County <br />Line Widening Widen one lane in each direction <br />12 I-85 from I-85/I-40 Split to east of the NC 86 <br />Interchange Widening Widen one lane in each direction and improve interchanges <br />13 Homestead Road Bike Lanes and Sidewalks <br />Improve Homestead Road (SR 1777) from Old NC 86 (SR 1009) to <br />NC 86 to include bicycle lanes and sidewalks in sections of the <br />corridor where they do not exist. <br />14 Dimmocks Mill Road Rail Crossing Improvement <br />and Bellevue Street Closure <br />Improve current Dimmocks Mill Rd (#735154S) grade separation <br />and close Bellevue St (#735152D)Cost information does not exist at <br />this time and a placeholder value of $1 was used in the cost <br />estimating screen <br />15 Buckhorn Road (SR 1114) Widening Widen Buckhorn Road from U.S. 70 to West Ten Road (SR1144) to <br />multiple lanes with bicycle and pedestrian facilities. <br />16 Mattress Factory Road Interchange Construct a new interchange at the existing grade-separated <br />crossing of Mattress Factory Road and I-85/I-40. <br />17 Mattress Factory Road Extension to U.S. 70 <br />Extend Mattress Factory Road northward across East Washington <br />Street and the NCRR/Norfolk Southern railroad right-of-way to <br />intersect U.S. 70 and close the existing railroad crossover road <br />connecting East Washington Street and U.S. 70 approximately 240 <br />feet to the east of the intersection of Mattress Factory Road and <br />East Washington Street. <br />18 <br />NC 54 Operational Improvements (Orange Grove <br />Road - originally Dodsons Crossroads -to Old <br />Fayetteville Road) <br />Operational improvements along the corridor with bicycle and <br />pedestrian accommodations. <br /> 13
