Please respond <br />with your board's recommendation. <br />Efland/Mebane Small Area Pain Task Force <br />This committee will work with the Orange County Planning Department to develop a Corridor Study for the <br />Efland/ Mebane area and make recommendations for the Land Use Element Update. Meetings will <br />include discussion of: residential development, changes in land use policies, locations for economic <br />development, etc. <br />The geographic extent for the Efland/Mebane Small Area Plan Task Force includes the area bounded to <br />the north by W Lebanon Road, but also includes the Fairfield Rural Neighborhood Activity Node <br />designated by the Comprehensive Land Use Element to include a % miles radius at the intersection of <br />Lebanon Road and Efland Cedar Grove Road. It is bound to the east by the I-85/US 70 Connector and <br />Upper Eno Watershed Critical Area and to the south by West Ten Rd, and Bowman Rd. It is bound to the <br />west by the Orange/Alamance County line and City of Mebane Extra Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ). <br />Thank You, <br />Monica <br />Monica C.
