Ms. Austin will provide an update to Board members on actions taken or <br />planned by other local Boards of Health, and will discuss the development of a long-term statewide strategy on <br />this issue. <br /> <br />Possible Action #1: The General Assembly is expected to conclude its session by the end of May. Board of <br />Health members are invited to join health department staff in an informational meeting with state <br />representatives this summer. The purpose of the meeting is to share both the Institute of Medicine report on <br />increasing the minimum legal sale age and Orange County BOH’s resolution. <br /> <br />House Members <br /> Representative Verla Insko, Democrat - District 56 <br /> Representative Graig R.
