10/13/14 <br /> 2 <br />for social justice funds for the Family Success Alliance <br />for their visit to the Harlem Children’s Zone. <br /> <br />At their April 7, 2015 meeting, Commis sioner <br />Pelissier asked the Cou nty Manager to get a detailed <br />report on how Cardinal Innovations uses the $1.3 <br />million in county funds for mental health services. <br />She cited discussions with county stakeholders who <br />state the need for increased mental health services, <br />pre and post jail service s, and treatment for <br />undocumented immigrant children. <br /> <br />Also at this meeting, the Orange County Alcoholic <br />Beverage Control Board presented to the BOCC. Their <br />annual report showed: <br /> Orange County is consistently in the top 10 in the <br />state in revenue <br /> Orange County saw a 5.4% increase in profit, and <br />a 9.1% increase in profitability <br /> The Board provides $156,550 to Alcohol Education <br />and Rehabilitation and $130,000 to Alcohol Law <br />Enforcement – double the statutory requirements <br />in NC. <br /> <br /> <br />Chapel Hill <br />Town Council <br /> <br />Obesity <br /> <br />The March 9th meeting included a discussion of <br />bike/pedestrian facilities as part of the <br />Ephesus/Fordham Renewal District work. This is the <br />intersection of 15-501/Fordham and Franklin street. A <br />design firm provided several options ranging in cost. <br /> <br />
