Several of the <br />goals align closely with the pipeline of services for the <br />Family Success Alliance. <br /> <br /> <br />At their May 11, 2015 meeting, the Board reviewed an <br />increase in school lunch charges. The increase for <br />elementary students is $2 .10 to $2.20 and for <br />middle/high school students i s $2.50 to $2.70. <br /> <br /> <br />Chapel <br />Hill/Carrboro <br />City Schools <br />Board of <br />Education <br /> <br />Obesity <br /> <br />At their May 7, 2015 meeting, the Board approved <br />changes to the Student Wellness Policy to reflect the <br />new State Board of Education requirements, new federal <br />standards around wellness, and Smart Snacks. <br /> <br />This will be a topic of more detailed review and <br />discussion at the next BOH Obesity Prevention <br />subcommittee meeting. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Board of <br />County <br />Commissioners <br /> <br />Obesity , <br />SAMH <br /> <br />At their March 3, 2015 meeting, the Commissioners <br />received public comment on the Consolidated Housing <br />Plan. Comments focused on the lack of affordable rental <br />housing, the need for repairs to low-income elderly <br />individuals, and the differences between Section 8, <br />Housing Choice, and other home affordability options. <br /> <br />Also at this meeting, the BOCC voted to include “the <br />reclassification of Flavored Alcoholic Beverages <br />(Alcopops) as distilled spirits rather than malt <br />beverages” in their 2015 legislative agenda. <br /> <br />Finally, at this meeting the BOCC approved the request
