Volunteers rushed to help <br />distribute water at several sites in Chapel Hill and Carrboro. <br />Alejandro Alick III, a Chapel Hill resident, was at the Hargraves Community Center Saturday. “I <br />wanted to help because I know my community is in crisis,” he told The Herald -Sun’s Anna <br />Johnson. “I thought since my family -- we have enough to get where we need -- I thought I <br />would come out and be a help to the rest of the community.” <br />Orange County Health Director Colleen Bridger praised residents’ cooperation and willingness <br />to help one another, noting “there were a lot of moving parts behind the scenes.” She called <br />the response “one of the great things about working and being involved in Orange County.” <br />She said one of the most common questions from callers was “How can I help.” <br />For that response, we’re proud of the community. <br />
