The County is <br />responsible for maintaining the intent of the residents' Bill of Rights, <br />promoting community involvement in the homes and providing public <br />education on long-term care issues. The members visit each county nursing <br />home quarterly and file a report on that visit with the Regional Ombudsman <br />for the Triangle J Area Agency on Aging, You have met some or all of the <br />members during these visits. <br />The Committee currently has 12 seats with 4 of them representing the <br />Administration of the Nursing Homes, One of these four seats is vacant, and <br />the other three are filled, with the members serving their first full terms, with <br />all terms expiring on 6/30/2005.
