He said this is the program from which the full <br />f unding grant would come. <br />Commissioner Marcoplos clarified that the Fast Act authorizes this process, but not the <br />funding amount. <br />Matthew Clark said yes, but it also provides guidance on the levels of funding. He said <br />there is strong bipartisan support to fund the CIGP at current, or above current, levels. <br /> <br />8. Minutes <br />The Board will consider correcting and/or approving the minutes from January 23, 2018 <br />as submitted by the Clerk to the Board. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Marcoplos said that he would like to amend the minutes of January 23, <br />2018 on the section on Settler’s Point, in reference to the conversation surrounding solar <br />panels. He said he would like the wording to state that the business owner would not just meet <br />with a solar company to understand the benefits of solar power, but rather to understand the <br />benefits of solar power to the owner’s particular business. He said it is important that this does <br />not just drift away. <br /> Donna Baker asked if Commissioner Marcoplos would send her the exact wording that <br />he would like. <br /> Commissioner Marcoplos said that he would. <br /> Donna Baker asked if the BOCC would approve the minutes as amended, and <br />Commissioner Marcoplos could follow up with his desired wording. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Marcoplos, seconded by Commissioner Price to <br />approve the proposed amended minutes for January 23, 2018. <br />
