9 <br />Town staff reports a positive experience with CNG vehicles infrastructure, and <br />plan to purchase additional vehicles in coming years. The Town's only negative <br />experience relating to CNG came from a recent retrofit to the CNG pump and <br />compressor to allow for 3000 psi vehicles. This was an issue with repair <br />contractor's work. <br />The above picture of Chapel Hill's station shows the Town Public Works CNG <br />van in the process of refueling. The hose connection to the vehicles CNG tank is <br />shown below. <br />Investigation of Hillsborough -Area Sites <br />At the outset of this project, three sites` were identified for possible location of <br />the CNG infrastructure: <br />• The Orange County Schools Maintenance Yard on South Churton Street <br />• The NCDOT Maintenance Yard /Fueling Station on South Churton Street <br />• The Orange County Public Works Fueling Station on NC 86 North <br />
