SECTION 3: ORGANIZATION IMPROVEMENT PLAN Final Report <br />o? 1 <br />3.1. INTRODUCTION <br />This section represents the "Organizational Improvement Plan" (OIP) for Orange <br />Public Transit (OPT) Specific observations and recommendations are offered in <br />six areas: <br />• Leadership / Strategic Planning <br />• Customer service <br />• Financial management <br />• Human resources <br />• Operations <br />• Federal and state compliance <br />Individual tables detail the major issues, review findings, and make <br />recommendations for each of these subject areas. The tables also include a <br />"Status" block where OPT can comment on progress achieved in each of these <br />areas as the five-year plan progresses. <br />Each of these recommendations will be incorporated into NCDOT's OIP <br />software, which is used to compile the results of CTIPs conducted across the <br />state. <br />Orange County 3-1 <br />COMMUNITY TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PLAN
