Insert a new Subparagraph 4.5.1 as follows: "All references to mandatory mediation <br />in the GENERAL CONDITIONS and any other Contract Documents are hereby <br />deleted. All disputes not resolved by the Architect's decision shall be resolved in <br />accordance with Subparagraph 4.2.13." <br />F. Paragraph 4.6 "ARBITRATION" <br />1. Delete Subparagraphs 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.6.3, 4.6.4, 4.6.5 and 4.6.6 in their entirety. <br />2. Insert a new Subparagraph 4.6.1 as follows: <br />4.6.1 "All references to mandatory arbitration in the GENERAL <br />CONDITIONS and any other Contract Documents are hereby deleted. Paragraph 7.2 "CHANGE ORDERS" <br />Insert a new Subparagraph 7.2.3 as follows: <br />7.2.3 The Contractor shall provide a breakdown of cost or credit for a change made in <br />accordance with Clause 7.3.3.1 or 7.3.3.4 on the form, Exhibit A, attached to <br />these supplementary general conditions. <br />B. Paragraph 7.3 "CONSTRUCTION CHANGE DIRECTIVES" <br />1. In Subparagraph 7.3.1, in the second sentence, following "deletions or other <br />revisions ", insert "or acceleration of the time for completing the Work," <br />2. Insert a new Clause 7.3.3.5 as follows: <br />7.3.3.5 The Contractor shall provide a breakdown of cost or credit for a change <br />made in accordance with Clause 7.3.3.1. <br />VII. MODIFICATIONS OF ARTICLE 8 — TIME <br />A. Paragraph 8.3 "DELAYS AND EXTENSIONS OF TIME" <br />1. Delete Subparagraph 8.3.1 in its entirety and in its stead the following new <br />Subparagraph 8.3.1: <br />8.3.1 If the Contractor is delayed in the commencement, prosecution, or <br />completion of the Work by the acts, omissions, neglect or default of the Owner, <br />or of anyone employed by the Owner, or by any damage caused by fire or other <br />casualty of by the combined action of workmen in no way chargeable to the <br />Contractor, or by any extraordinary condition arising out of war or government <br />regulations, or by any other cause beyond the Contractor's control, none of which <br />is due to any fault, neglect, act or omission of the Contractor, then the Contractor <br />shall be entitled to an extension of time, such extension to be for a period <br />equivalent to the time lost by reason of any and all of the aforesaid causes, as <br />SGC - 9 <br />
