All such changes shall be indicated in prominent contrasting color. <br />Where necessary for clarity, supplementary drawings at a larger scale shall be <br />made and print attached to the "Record Drawings ". Care shall be exercised in <br />handling the "Record Drawings" to insure an accurate permanent record. <br />3.11.1.3 The Architect will review the "Record Drawings" on a monthly basis <br />during construction to determine whether the Contractor is in compliance with <br />Clauses 3.11.1.1 and 3.11.1.2. <br />G. Paragraph 3.12 "SHOP DRAWINGS, PRODUCT DATA, AND SAMPLES" <br />Delete Subparagraph 3.12.5 and insert in its stead the following new <br />Subparagraph 3.12.5: <br />3.12.5 The Contractor shall review for compliance with the Contract Documents, <br />approve in writing and submit, with reasonable promptness and in such sequence <br />as to cause no delay in the Work or in the activities of the Owner or any separate <br />contractor, all Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples and similar submittals <br />required by the Contract Documents. Submittals made by the Contractor which <br />are not required by the Contract Documents may be returned without action. <br />2. Delete Subparagraph 3.12.7 and insert in instead the following new <br />Subparagraph 3.12.7: <br />3.12.7 No portion of the Work requiring submission of a Shop Drawing, Product <br />Data, Sample or similar submittals shall be commenced until the respective <br />submittal has been reviewed and approved by the Architect as provided in <br />Subparagraph 4.2.7. All such portions of the Work shall be in accordance with <br />reviewed submittals. <br />Delete Subparagraph 3.12.8 and insert in its stead the following new <br />Subparagraph 3.12.8: <br />3.12.8 The Work shall be in accordance with approved submittals except that the <br />Contractor shall not be relieved of responsibility for deviations from the <br />requirements of the Contract Documents by the Architect's review of Shop <br />Drawings, Product Data, Samples or similar submittals under Subparagraph 4.2.7 <br />unless the Contractor has specifically informed the Architect in writing of such <br />deviation at the time of submittal and (1) the Architect has given written approval <br />to the specific deviation as a minor change in the Work, or (2) a Change Order or <br />Construction Change Directive has been issued authorizing the deviation. The <br />Contractor shall not be relieved from responsibility for errors or omissions in the <br />Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples or similar submittals by the Architect's <br />review thereof. <br />H. Paragraph 3.15 "CLEANING UP" <br />Insert at the end of Subparagraph 3.15.1 the following: <br />"In addition to the clean -up during construction as set out above, the Contractor <br />shall also, after the Work has been completed, complete the following clean up: <br />Comply with all special cleaning instructions contained in the <br />Specifications. <br />SGC -6 <br />
