The Contractor shall comply with all requirements for cleanliness described <br />in other sections of these specifications. <br />1.03 The Contractor shall conduct daily inspections to ensure that the requirements for cleanliness are <br />being met. <br />PART2 PRODUCTS <br />2.01 Provide all required manpower, material and equipment to maintain the standard of cleanliness as <br />defined by the Owner. <br />2.02 Use only those materials and equipment which are compatible with the surface being cleaned as <br />recommended by the manufacturer or approved by the Designer. <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.01 Progress Cleaning <br />A. Stored items shall be kept in an orderly arrangement allowing maximum access and shall not <br />impede drainage or traffic. <br />B. Scrap, debris, waste material and other items shall not be allowed to accumulate on the roof. <br />C. Provide storage containers for all items awaiting removal from the site. Storage containers <br />shall be approved by the Owner. Beat -up, unkempt Containers will not be allowed. <br />Containers must be covered while not in use. <br />3.02 Inspect all arrangements of materials stored on the project site on a weekly minimum basis and shall <br />service all arrangements in accordance with the requirements of Paragraph 3.01.A of this section. <br />3.03 Final Cleaning <br />A. Except as specifically provided otherwise, "clean" shall be interpreted to mean the level of <br />cleanliness generally attainable by skilled cleaners using commercially available building <br />maintenance equipment and materials. <br />17 -198 Cleaning <br />017710.1 <br />
