DocuSign Envelope ID: B49FB256 -4ADF- 4759- AF63- 134AD44FC239 <br />5thWall Building Diagnostics Consultants Slate Roof Replacement <br />Orange County Skills Development Center <br />Chapel Hill, NC <br />August 2017 <br />3.03 Pre - construction Conference <br />Prior to ordering materials but after approval of the shop drawings, a pre - constuction conference <br />shall be held by appropriate personnel representing the Owner, (including the inspector), Owner's <br />Representative, Designer, General Contractor (if any), Roofing Contractor, and roofing materials <br />manufacturer representative at least seven days prior to proposed start of field work. The <br />Designer shall make all arrangements for the meeting. The Contractor shall have its project <br />manager and designated job foreman/superintendent present at the meeting. Failure to include all <br />of the proper personnel at the meeting shall be cause to re- schedule the meeting at the expense of <br />the Contractor. Should the project manager or job foreman/superintendent or manufacturer <br />change, the meeting shall be re -held at the expense of the Contractor. The Designer's <br />specifications, plans and flashing details shall be discussed and any problems or discrepancies <br />resolved. Scheduling of the work of the various trades shall also be reviewed and established. <br />Representatives of Owner, Owner's Representative, Designer, General Contractor (if any), and <br />Roofing Contractor will be established at the Pre - Roofing Conference. A written record shall be <br />made of the proceeding by the Designer and shall become a part of the job record. The Agenda <br />for the Conference will consist of the following items as a minimum: <br />1. Contract documents <br />2. Communications channels and procedures <br />3. Field change orders and decisions <br />4. Project meeting schedules <br />5. Construction schedule <br />6. Rules and regulations affecting the work <br />7. Safety requirements <br />8. Staging, material storage and parking <br />9. Organization of Contractor, Subcontractors, material suppliers, Designer <br />10. Shop drawings and submittals <br />11. Project record documents <br />12. Technical discussion to include as a minimum <br />a) Review of methods and procedures for roofing installation to include the <br />manufacturers written instructions <br />b) Review of details and other conditions that may affect the work <br />C) Examination of existing conditions for compliance with specified <br />requirements <br />13.
