Convey Smart Growth for Schools principles to the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools <br />(CHCCS) <br />2. Ask CHCCS for a timetable for the construction and opening of the planned Elementary <br />School #10, as well as any infrastructure construction estimates generated to date <br />1 Create an alternative design scenario, with a focus on smart growth for school <br />construction and sharing of facilities <br />4, Hold an open house/public input session on the plans for the site <br />5. Prepare a report evaluating projected water and sewer demand from the site, and <br />develop park construction cost estimates <br />6. Discuss with Chapel Hill Transit potential future service to the site (both park and <br />educational campus), and <br />7. Begin the process of preparing a Conditional Use Permit application for submittal to the <br />Town of Carrboro <br />A pubic input session/open house was held in October, and in December staff reported back on <br />these topics (which are summarized in the attached December 6, 2004 memos).
