MAXIMUM NUMBER OF Authorized Users <br /> <br />Total Maximum Number of Authorized Users Permitted to Access the EMR System: 50 <br />providers. Client may request that UNCHCS increase the maximum number of <br />Authorized Users permitted to access the EMR System by providing prior written notice <br />to UNCHCS, and UNCHCS will grant such request provided UNCHCS is able to meet <br />the corresponding increased demands on system capacity. CLIENT shall pay to <br />UNCHCS the then-applicable fees attributable to any increase in the total number of <br />Authorized Users in accordance with UNCHCS's then-current pricing methodology. <br />Notwithstanding the foregoing, the total number of Authorized Users shall not exceed 50 <br />providers without mutual agreement of the parties. <br /> <br /> <br />IV. PATIENT VOLUMES <br /> <br />Total anticipated Annual Patient Volume covered by initial Agreement: Not to exceed <br />200,000 per year. <br /> <br />Should Client exceed anticipated Annual Patient Volume, Client must obtain additional <br />licenses and agrees to pay to UNCHCS the cost of obtaining these additional licenses in <br />accordance with UNCHCS’s then-current pricing methodology. Any additional licenses <br />and costs shall be memorialized in a written amendment duly executed by authorized <br />representatives of each party. <br /> <br /> <br />V. FEES <br /> <br />A. EMR System Access Fees based upon total of 50 Authorized Users, and estimated <br />visit volume of <200,000 annual visits: <br />Pricing is on a per provider basis for the one-time license & implementation fees as well as the <br />ongoing monthly fee. <br />• One-time License & Implementation Fee* <br />The one-time license and implementation fee includes Epic licensing, the implementation <br />team’s efforts, training and go-live support. <br />o EMR plus Practice Management = $19,646 per provider <br />o UNC approved a 50% subsidy for the implementation fees. <br /> Subsidized cost for EMR plus Practice Management = $9,823 per <br />Provider <br /> <br />20
