(See Attachment 1, column 8) <br /> <br />SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is <br />applicable to this agenda item: <br />• GOAL: ENSURE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY <br />The creation and reservation of infrastructure, polices, programs and funding <br />necessary for resident to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for <br />themselves and their dependents. <br /> <br /> <br />County Manager’s Office – Arts Commission <br />9. The County Manager’s Office has received a total $1,234 from Hillsborough Arts <br />Commission. This represents funds raised through the 2017 Paint It Orange Plein Air <br />Paint-out, which was a joint fundraiser with the Hillsborough Arts Council this past fall. <br />This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these funds for use in FY 2017-18 by <br />the Orange County Arts Commission within the Visitors Bureau Fund. (See Attachment <br />1, column 9) <br /> <br />SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal impact <br />associated with this item. <br /> <br /> <br />Criminal Justice Resource Department <br />10. The County has received funds of $23,667 from Cardinal Innovations as a refund from <br />maintenance of efforts funds provided to Cardinal Innovations in FY 2016-17. These <br />funds will be used by the Orange County Criminal Justice Department for several <br />contract services in FY 2017-18, as well as encumbering some of the funds for use in FY <br />2018-19. This budget amendment provides for the receipt of this refund for the above <br />stated purpose. (See Attachment 1, column 10) <br /> <br />SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal impact <br />associated with this item. <br /> <br /> <br />County Manager’s Office – Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness <br />11. The Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness has received notification from the <br />Triangle Community Foundation of a sponsorship award of $1,000. These funds will be <br />used to help support the Point-in-Time street count. This budget amendment provides for <br />the receipt of these funds within the Community Development Fund, outside of the <br />General Fund.
