County Attorney’s Report 18 <br />NONE 19 <br /> 20 <br />11. *Appointments 21 <br />Commissioner Jacobs asked if County employees can serve on County Advisory 22 <br />Boards. 23 <br />Commissioner Price said only the Board of Health had a policy in its bylaws that 24 <br />employees cannot serve on its board. 25 <br />John Roberts said the Board of Health has this policy, and the County has a general 26 <br />policy that says no nominee to a board shall be currently employed by Orange County 27 <br />government and serve on a board that directly affects the employee’s work. 28 <br />Donna Baker said if an employee completes a board application, her office contacts the 29 <br />County Attorney before proceeding. 30 <br /> 31 <br />a.
