<br />7. Window Signs, Menu Signs, and Individual Information Signs <br />- A sign erected on the interior side of a window of a place of <br />business advertising any service, product, special, or sale <br />conducted within the business where it is located. Window <br />Signs can also include the stenciling of the name of a non- <br />residential establishment and may include hours of <br />operation, phone numbers, and other pertinent information <br />associated with the non-residential land use. <br />Window Signs shall be limited to occupying a maximum of <br />thirty (30) percent of the total window area where the sign is <br />to be erected. This includes signs advertising specials <br />within the business, signs advertising sales, and signs <br />advertising the name and other pertinent business <br />information associated with the principal use that may be <br />etched, attached, or otherwise made a permanent part of a <br />pane of glass. <br />8. Entertainment Center/Cinema: For an entertainment <br />center/cinema, a marquee, as a permanent canopy <br />projecting over an entrance to a building, may be erected <br />and displayed with the following limitations: <br />i. A marquee may identify the name and trademark of <br />the cinema and may include a changeable listing of <br />movie titles. <br />ii. A marquee shall not extend more than ten (14 feet) <br />from the building nor be less than nine (12) feet above <br />the ground or sidewalk at the lowest point. <br />iii. The maximum display sign area on the marquee shall <br />be four hundred (400) square feet. <br />iv. The marquee shall front on interior drives and streets, <br />not on streets external to the development, but may <br />be visible from those locations or from the interstate. <br />v. The cinema shall have one (1) poster box per movie <br />screen. They shall be mounted on the façade of the <br />building plus an additional two (2) poster boxes shall <br />be placed for general information. The poster box <br />shall be a maximum of fifty-six (56) inches high and <br />forty (40) inches wide. <br />i. TRANSPORTATION: <br />1. The right-of-way for Service Road shall be extended west <br />through District 1 to provide additional connectivity to <br />adjacent parcels. Any extension of Service Road shall be <br />constructed to NC DOT public road standards. <br />2. External roadway improvements shall be constructed in <br />accordance with a phased construction/development plan in <br />accordance with NC DOT requirements and guidelines, the <br />approved Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA), the approved Master <br />Plan, and the standards outlined herein. <br /> 320
