Franklin County judicial decision. 28 Presenter: Michael Harvey, Current Planning Supervisor 29 30 <br />Michael Harvey reviewed the abstract. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Lydia Wegman: So it’s the American Planning Association? 33 <br /> 34 <br />Michael Harvey: Yes. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Lydia Wegman: And is that the one you’ve decided to use as the? 37 <br /> 38 <br />Michael Harvey: We’re actually using the NAICS hybrid because the NAICS we’ve actually got in our EDD table, the NAICS 39 <br />code was what was utilized to create the Economic Development District table of permitted uses in section 5.2.2. We don’t see 40 <br />the need to deviate from it that much. The APA list is helping us to address some residential land uses because NAICS 41 <br />obviously doesn’t care about residential, it’s a commercial code. There’s unnecessary duplication of information in the APA list 42 <br />that makes it more cumbersome than NAICS. NAICS is just voluminous. APA’s listing actually gets convoluted and repeats 43 <br />itself. 44 <br /> 45 <br />Lydia Wegman: So you’re using NAICS? 46 <br /> 47 <br />Michael Harvey: Yeah. The land use categories. 48 <br /> 49 <br />Craig Benedict: We’re going to be able to get rid of 200 pages by collapsing. Michael, could you just go over one other thing 50 <br />for the Board? The kind of general categories of what we’re going to be plugging all these different uses into.
