Article 5: Uses <br /> Section 5.14: Standards For Manufacturing, Assembly & Processing <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Orange County, North Carolina – Unified Development Ordinance Page 5-147 <br /> <br />areas, and parking areas shall be setback a minimum of 100 feet from all <br />property lines. <br />(4) Major events may attract more than 150 people at one time and may occur more <br />frequently than twelve times per year. <br />(5) Loudspeakers and public address systems shall not be used before 7 a.m. or <br />after 7 p.m. if an existing residence is located within 1,000 feet of the facility, <br />unless approved otherwise in the permit. <br />(6) Special events shall cease no later than 9 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday or <br />11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, unless approved otherwise in the permit. <br />(7) Food services are not allowed unless approved in the permit. <br />(8) The permit may limit the frequency of events. <br />(9) Retail sales are intended to be comprised primarily of products produced on-site <br />but may include complementary items. <br />5.14.9 Industrial, Light52 <br />(A) Standards for the O/RM Zoning District <br />(1) The following Multiple Uses are permitted in the O/RM zoning district when the <br />Principal Use type is Industrial, Light and adhere to the standards of Section <br />5.14.5(A)(2): <br />(a) Banks & Financial Institutions <br />(b) Beauty & Barber Shops <br />(c) Laundry & Dry Cleaning Services <br />(d) Nightclubs, Bars, Pubs <br />(e) Restaurants: Carry Out <br />(f) Restaurants: General <br />(g) Retail, Class 1 <br />(h) Printing & Lithography <br />(2) Multiple Uses, identified in Section 5.14.5(A)(1), are permitted in the O/RM <br />zoning district only in accordance with the following standards: <br />(a) The site plan must identify the square footage of each structure by type <br />of use. <br />(b) The Principal Use type of Industrial, Light must be established on the <br />site. <br />(c) The Multiple Use shall not exceed 25% of the total square footage of all <br />structures on the site. <br />Manufacturing, Assembly, and Processing Uses Not Listed <br /> Submittal Requirements <br /> In addition to the information required under Section 2.7of this Ordinance, the <br />following shall be submitted as part of the application: <br /> <br />52 Provisions have been reworked and relocated to Section 3.4 General Commercial Districts – O/RM district <br />standards. <br /> 241
