Article 5: Uses <br /> Section 5.5: Standards for Residential Uses <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Orange County, North Carolina – Unified Development Ordinance Page 5-45 <br /> <br />(8)(6) Street Names, Signs & Unit NumberingAddressing <br />(a) All street names shall be approved by the Orange County Planning <br />Department and Land Records staff. <br />(a)(b) and sStreet signs shall be located and constructed to Orange County <br />standards. All street signs mustand shall be installed outside the right- <br />of-way at all intersections. <br />(b)(c) Each applicant must shall submit to the Planning Department and Land <br />Records for approval a mobile home space and/or stall <br />numbering/location systemaddressing system for the home park, based <br />on the equal interval house numbering system employed byconsistent <br />with the Orange County Addressing Ordinance. Upon approval of the <br />mobile home home park, the applicant shall submit an approved copy of <br />the space numbering/location systemaddressing plan to the emergency <br />services/fire protection agency responsible for providing such services to <br />the Mobile Home Park. <br />(c)(d) Each mobile home individual home park space shall have a permanent <br />site numberaddress sign consistent with the following:erected in <br />accordance with the Orange County Addressing Ordinance. <br />(i) The site number sign shall be composed of reflective materials <br />or contrasting colors, <br />(ii) The number on the sign shall be at least six inches or greater in <br />height, <br />(iii) The sign shall be affixed to the mobile home when the unit is <br />placed on the stand space, at a point six feet or more above <br />ground level, and <br />(iv) The number on the sign shall match that number assigned to the <br />space on the approved space numbering/location system plan. <br />(9)(7) Grounds and Buildings <br />(a) The grounds of a mobile home park shall be maintained free of litter, <br />debris and trash, including but not limited to abandoned appliances, <br />automobiles, building materials or similar materials. <br />(b) Grounds, buildings and storage areas within the mobile home park shall <br />be maintained to prevent the growth of ragweed, poison ivy, poison oak <br />and other noxious weeds. <br />(10)(8) Mail Facilities <br />(a) Within e Each mobile home parkMHP-CZ district shall provide a <br />clustered mail delivery system, in compliance with the appropriate postal <br />service guidelines. Applicants for approval of a mobile home park shall <br />consult the appropriate agency for the specific requirements of this <br />system. <br />(b) Access to the mail delivery facility must be designed to allow three to <br />four cars to stop at the mail delivery facility without conflict from passing <br />vehicles. <br />(11)(9) Garbage & Refuse Collection <br />(a) All garbage and refuse for individual mobile homes in each park shall be <br />stored in suitable waterproof and rodent proof receptacles which shall be <br />kept covered with tightly fitting lids. <br /> 52
