• Research, write and publish the first Status of Human Relations Report <br />• Work with the Human Relations Commission to complete a social justice goal <br />recommendation for the Board of County Commissioners <br />• Research, write and publish the Status of Women Report focusing on Childhood Obesity <br />Programs <br />• Conduct strategic planning for the Department and publish an annual report and strategic <br />plan <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with the approval of the Final <br />Report. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board accept the final Report <br />on Functions and Responsibilities of the Human Rights and Relations Department and amend <br />the County's Classification and Pay Plan to add the new class of LEP (Limited English <br />Proficiency) Coordinator at salary grade 17 effective February 1, 2005.
