The Planning Board reviewed these and <br />issued a recommendation to the BOCC on each application. <br />• UDO text amendments related to temporary health care structures. <br />• Henderson Woods major subdivision concept plan and preliminary plat. <br />• UDO text amendments related to impervious surface matters. <br />• Class A SUPs for a solar facility in Bingham Township and for Emerson <br />Waldorf School. <br />• UDO text amendments related to recreational land uses. <br /> <br />More recently: <br />• UDO text amendments pertaining to: <br />o Temporary healthcare structures <br />o Sign regulations <br />o Modifications to the former O/I (Office/Institutional) zoning district <br />(now named O/RM – Office/Research and Manufacturing) <br />o The Hillsborough Economic Development District (EDD) <br />o Cluster subdivision regulations <br />• Provided input and comments on the Draft Affordable Housing Strategic <br />Plan. <br />• Reviewed and made recommendation on Orange County/Town of <br />Hillsborough Joint Land Use Plan Amendment and Zoning Atlas <br />Amendments for the Hillsborough EDD. <br />• Class A SUP for the Oakwood Solar Facility (in Cheeks Township). <br />• ORC review of proposed Rural Master Plan Development Conditional <br />Zoning District (RMP-CZ). <br />• Reviewed and made recommendations on non-residential rezonings to <br />address conformity of zoning district boundaries with totality of non- <br />residential use (i.e., parking, septic, buffer areas, etc.) <br /> <br />List of Specific Tasks, Events, or Functions Performed or Sponsored Annually. <br />• Monthly Planning Board meetings <br />• Quarterly Public Hearings (4) <br />• Ordinance Review Committee (ORC) meetings and special meetings as <br />required <br />• Review applications for ordinance amendments, major subdivisions, <br />and Class A special use permits and provide recommendations to the <br />BOCC <br />• Develop and recommend policies, ordinances, administrative <br />procedures and other means for carrying out plans <br />• Coordinate with staff on ongoing planning updates, changes, and new <br />techniques <br /> <br /> 57
