M. Harvey Letter, Page 2 <br />Lara Casey authored a motivational/live-your-best-life book strongly rooted in faith, which uses <br />gardening as the main theme throughout the book. While Lara Casey is also founder of <br />Southern Weddings Magazine, weddings were not a focus or formal part of the event in any <br />way. Her staff thought Wild Flora Farm would be the perfect place to host the book launch <br />because of the Farm’s ability to provide educational workshops and create learning centers for <br />attendees (including the many kids in attendanc e). <br /> <br />Combining a book that connects lessons learned from gardening and growing plants to life <br />strategies with the Wild Flora Farm ’s agricultural activities provided an enriching and <br />educational experience for the attendees. Approximately 50-60 people, including staff, were <br />present. <br /> <br />Lemonade and Italian ice were provided. A musician played acoustic guitar inside the barn for <br />approximately one hour during the event.
