We are also in the planning stages of developing <br />relationships with some of the families we serve in order to create meaningful <br />interaction and gain the most useful feedback so we can better serve our community. <br />While we know that our work is valuable to our community, we also know that <br />innovation and problem solving can provide unique opportunities to better serve <br />individuals and the community as a whole. <br />Include any other pertinent information. <br />TABLE’s long-term plan is to provide healthy food to every single child in Chapel Hill- <br />Carrboro that is hungry. In the coming years, we would love to focus on providing and/or <br />partnering with other organizations to provide the children in Hillsborough, Mebane, <br />Efland, and other surrounding communities with the healthy food they need. We <br />recognize that there is a major need and that TABLE could make a difference for the <br />children in the remainder of our County. But, we need the support of our local <br />governments (as well as local individuals, organizations, and businesses) to be able to <br />meet that goal sooner rather than later. The longer it takes for us to acquire program <br />and operational funding, the longer kids have to wait to have full bellies, get good <br />grades, have high self-esteem, be healthy, etc. Please stand alongside TABLE to <br />provide healthy food to our community’s children.
