HEnv Project #201603 <br />March 1, 2016 <br />12 <br />State and Tribal Underground Storage Tank (UST) database <br />UST’s are regulated under Subtitle I of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act <br />(RCRA) and must be registered with the state department responsible for administering <br />the UST program. Available information varies by state program. <br /> <br />The site is not listed on the UST database. The adjoining property to the southeast is <br />included on the UST database: <br /> <br />• Mace Grading Company, Inc., 6517 Highway 70 – In May 1984, Mace Grading <br />Company, Inc. installed one 2,000-gallon diesel UST. The UST basin was <br />located approximately 350 feet southeast of the site. The UST was removed in <br />July 1997. <br /> <br />Mace Grading Company, Inc. installed one 7,500-gallon diesel UST in 1975 and <br />an 8,000-gallon diesel UST in 1985. The UST basin was located approximately <br />375 feet southeast and cross-gradient of the site. The USTs were removed in <br />January 1999. These USTs are no longer located at the adjoining property to <br />the southeast and do not represent a REC of the site. <br /> <br />LAST (Leaking Above Ground Storage Tanks) <br />This database includes a listing of leaking aboveground storage tank locations. <br /> <br />The site is not listed on the LAST database. There is one property on the LAST <br />database mapped within 0.5 mile of the site: <br /> <br />• NC DMV, Interstate 40/Interstate 85 Scale Facility – This incident occurred <br />over one mile southeast of the site and is improperly mapped on the EDR report. <br />Based on the distance from the site, this incident does not represent a REC of <br />the site. <br /> <br />State and Tribal Voluntary Cleanup (VCP) sites <br />Responsible Party Voluntary Action site locations. <br /> <br />The site is not listed on the VCP database.
