RECORDS REVIEW <br /> <br />The purpose of the records review is to obtain and review records that will help identify <br />RECs in connection with the subject site. The ASTM standard regulatory databases and <br />additional databases was conducted by EDR. EDR searched databases maintained by <br />the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the NCDEQ. The EDR database <br />results are included in Appendix C. <br /> <br />If deemed necessary, HEnv will utilize the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), in order to <br />review additional information on file NCDEQ, EPA, or local municipality. <br /> <br />VI.1. Standard Database Review <br /> <br />The regulatory records search involves searching a series of databases for facilities that <br />are located within a specified distance from the subject site. The ASTM standard <br />specifies an approximate minimum search distance from the subject site for each <br />database.
