County Planning Board recommendation August 3 <br />Hillsborough Planning Board recommendation August 18 <br />Hillsborough Town Board action September 12 <br />County BOCC public hearing (possible action) September 12 <br /> <br />Orange County is also proposing amendments to its Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), <br />which is not part of the joint planning construct, that pertain to the Hillsborough Economic <br />Development District. The UDO amendments will also be a part of the September 12 public <br />hearing. Additionally, related Zoning Atlas amendments will be on the same agenda. <br /> <br />Planning Director’s Recommendation: The Planning Director recommends approval of the <br />proposed Town of Hillsborough/Orange County JLUP map amendment. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with receiving this information. <br />Processing of the amendment will not create the need for additional funding for the provision of <br />County services. Existing Planning staff included in the Departmental staffing budget will <br />accomplish the work required. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Planning Director recommends the Planning Board: <br />1. Review the proposed amendment, <br />2. Deliberate as desired, <br />3. Consider the Planning Director’s recommendation, and <br />4. Make a recommendation to the BOCC on the proposed amendment in time for the <br />September 12, 2016 Quarterly Public Hearing. <br /> <br /> 200
