There is no <br />advantage in adding additional <br />land use categories. <br />Add Rural Economic Development <br />Area (REDA) - A REDA conditional <br />zoning district was adopted on <br />June 5, 2012. A Land Use Plan <br />text and map amendment was not <br />necessary due to the way <br />conditional zoning districts work. <br />Amend Economic Development <br />land use category to include multi- <br />family - the purpose of this was to <br />allow multi-family uses in an area <br />that has since been changed to a <br />CITAN land use category (which <br />does allow residential uses <br />through zoning). Staff <br />recommends that this measure not <br />be pursued. <br />Combine 10 & 20-yr Transition to <br />form Efland Transition Area - staff <br />is recommending this measure not <br />be pursued as the existing <br />categories fit the needs of the <br />area.
