A BOCC member asked the applicant to provide additional detail on the proposed 6 inch <br />water line serving the project and if the line would be adequate to support water for both <br />consumption and firefighting capabilities. <br />8. Several BOCC members asked for clarification on the proposed septic system for the <br />project. <br />9. Planning staff indicated the applicant was asked to provide additional detail on proposed <br />landscaping in and around individual residential structures. <br /> <br />As of this date we are awaiting a response from the applicant on the various questions posed at <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Planning Director’s Analysis: The Planning Director has reviewed the proposal and is <br />supportive of the project. We are awaiting answers to these aforementioned questions, <br />however, before we make a formal recommendation. Staff has provided draft Statement of <br />Consistency in Attachment 2 and an ordinance approving the rezoning request, and establishing <br />development conditions/criteria, in Attachment 3 to aid Board members in their review. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: This request has been reviewed by various County departments who <br />have determined that the approval or denial of the request would not create the need for <br />additional funding for the provision of County services. Costs associated with advertising, <br />including the public hearing notice and mailings, were paid by the applicant in accordance with <br />the adopted Orange County Fee Schedule. <br /> <br />Costs associated with permitting development of the project shall be paid by the applicant in <br />accordance with the adopted Orange County Fee Schedule (i.e. erosion control, stormwater <br />management, building, zoning, etc.). <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Planning Director recommends the Board continue review the <br />project and request any additional information deemed necessary to aid them in being able to <br />make a recommendation to the BOCC. <br />89
