2. Requires current, and future, property owners to maintain the integrity and <br />viability of the installed stormwater feature in an effort to guarantee water <br />quality in perpetuity. <br />d. The amendment is reasonable and in the public interest because it: <br />1. Provides an opportunity for interested residents and property owners to <br />install additional impervious surface area, such as gravel, asphalt, and <br />buildings, on a property with the installation of an infiltration based <br />stormwater feature consistent with practices employed by the State of North <br />Carolina. <br />2.
