Efland Area Resident Group Input/Suggestions for each Proposed Standard is in the Column on the Right <br />Efland Village Overlay District <br />Easy <br />Ref. <br />No. <br />Section Number <br />in UDO <br />Revisions <br />Proposed Standard Efland Area Resident Group Input/Suggestion <br />26. 4.6.3(C)(1) No fences shall be permitted in the front yard of lots, other <br />than those used for single-family detached residential <br />purposes, unless a demonstrated need can be shown. <br />Fences should be allowed in the front yard of duplex <br />and multi-family uses but should be limited to 5-feet in <br />height. <br /> <br />Rewrite as follows: <br />(1) No fences shall be permitted in the front yard of <br />lots used for non-residential uses unless a <br />demonstrated need can be shown. <br />(2) Fences located in the front yard of residential uses, <br />other than single-family detached dwellings, shall <br />be a maximum of five feet in height, as measured <br />from the normal finished grade in the vicinity of the <br />fence base. <br />27. 4.6.3(C)(2) Chain link or similar fencing shall not be permitted for uses <br />other than single-family detached residential. <br />Delete this proposed standard.
