Section 4. If the Board of County Commissioners favorably responds to the extraterritorial <br />boundary extension request, the Town will record a copy of this Ordinance in the office of the <br />register of deeds of Orange County and initiate steps required to enact planning regulations for <br />this Area as required by the provisions of N.C. G.S. Sec. 160A-360. <br /> <br />Section 5. If the Board of County Commissioners does not approve the extension of the Town’s <br />extraterritorial jurisdiction pursuant to this Ordinance within 180 days of enactment of this <br />Ordinance, the Ordinance shall be void. <br /> <br />This the 15th day of October, 2014. <br />14
