With 90,000 square feet of <br />space, the SportsPlex is one of only two facilitfes in the United States <br />to offer an ice arena, aquatfcs center, and fitness center all under one <br />roof. SportsPlex is operated for the County by Recreatfon Partners, <br />Inc., under a contractual agreement. The County’s Central Orange <br />Senior Center is located adjacent to the SportsPlex, providing conven- <br />ient access for senior citfzens. <br /> <br />General Conditions and Adequacy for Intended Purpose and Uses: <br /> The facility has undergone renovatfons and added spaces and <br />rooms for additfonal programs and actfvitfes. <br /> The facility is serving record-high numbers of members and patrons, <br />with a high level of service and expanded program offerings. <br /> <br /> <br />Orange County SportsPlex - 101 Meadowlands Drive, Hillsborough <br />Future Phases: Substantfal upgrades are <br />planned, in three phases over the next 5 <br />years, to add mezzanine fitness, an indoor <br />turf field, and a basketball court. These <br />improvements will primarily be funded by <br />increased revenues.
