Orange County purchased the entfre parcel following the opening of <br />the new Orange High School in 1963. Central Recreatfon Center was dedicated <br />to Recreatfon and Parks and opened in 1975. In 2002 the building underwent <br />renovatfons including HVAC upgrades, new flooring and paint. During the 2005- <br />2008 period, upgrades were made to some offices and the restrooms. The win- <br />dows and exterior doors were replaced, and other improvements were made. <br />Central Recreatfon Center hosts over 4,000 partfcipants annually in over 160 <br />recreatfon programs. In 2012, 47 actfvity reservatfons were made by groups and <br />individuals within the community, with an estfmated 2,050 attendees. <br />General Conditions and Adequacy for Intended Purpose and Uses: <br /> The Center requires and receives a high level of maintenance <br /> The gym and actfvity rooms are fully scheduled with actfvitfes and <br />programs 7 days per week.
