Margaret Lane, Hillsborough <br />Overview: <br />River Park has long been a gathering site for public actfvitfes and special events in the heart of Hillsborough. <br />The park is bordered by Churton Street to the west, the Eno River and Hillsborough’s “Riverwalk” to the south, <br />the Orange County Link Center and Annex to the east; and the Orange County Justfce Facilitfes to the north. <br />River Park features a Farmer’s Market Pavilion, restrooms, parking, paved and natural surface trails, two open <br />play fields, an Occoneechee Village exhibitfon, and the Stfllhouse Creek restoratfon area. The park hosts the <br />Eno River Farmers’ Market (Saturdays), the annual Hillsborough “Hogg Day,” and Orange County Earth Evening <br />events. It has also been the site for the Orange County Jazz Festfval and many Easter Egg Hunt festfvitfes as <br />well as hostfng the movies in the park series. The Riverwalk (also part of the NC Mountains-to-Sea Trail) links <br />River Park to many interestfng natural and cultural sites located to the west and east of this locatfon. <br /> <br />Location/Users: <br />River Park is located in downtown Hillsborough.
