Box 8181 <br />Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br /> <br /> <br />September 23, 2012 <br /> <br />Dear Property Owner: <br /> <br />Section 2.15.2 (D) of the Orange County Unified Development Ordinance requires notification of <br />landowners within five hundred feet (500’) of a proposed subdivision of more than five new lots by <br />first class mail at least ten days prior to the date of the meeting. <br /> <br />The following Neighborhood Information Meeting has been scheduled to present a Concept <br />Plan for a subdivision near your property to address subdivision regulation requirements: <br /> <br /> Date: Thursday, October 3, 2013 <br /> Time: 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. <br /> Place: Ground Floor Conference Room <br /> 131 West Margaret Lane <br /> Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278 <br /> <br />The Triple Farms Crown Subdivision Summary <br /> <br />The property is located in Chapel Hill Township on the west side of Dairyland Road, west of the <br />intersection of Dairyland Road and Old NC 86, as shown on the enclosed vicinity map. The <br />developer, 16 Parkside Lane, LLC, proposes to develop twenty lots on a parcel containing some <br />104 acres. The property is zoned RB (Rural Buffer), University Lake Protected Watershed. All <br />lots will have individual well and septic systems. <br /> <br />The purpose of the Neighborhood Information Meeting is to provide an opportunity for you to ask <br />questions about the proposed development plan. At the meeting, the Orange County Planning <br />Department staff will describe the subdivision review process and answer questions regarding the <br />land subdivision process. After the Neighborhood Information Meeting, the Planning Board will <br />review the Concept Plan. The next Planning Board meeting is scheduled for November 6, 2013 <br />at 7:30 p.m. in the131 West Margaret Lane Ground Floor Conference Room.
