PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT PROGRAM <br />Mission/Scope: Public Hearing process consistent with NC State Statutes and <br />Orange County ordinance requirements. Additionally, staff will hold one Public Input <br />Meeting in August to review the Plan that was adopted by the Town of Hillsborough in <br />March 2013. Town staff will attend the meeting. <br />At the February 21, 2013 joint meeting with the Town of Hillsborough, BOCC <br />members and the County Manager had questions about the concept of a Central <br />Orange Rural Buffer and notification of the public if such a concept were to come <br />25
