7 <br /> <br />Orange County ordinance requirements. <br /> <br />a. Planning Board Review: <br />January 9, 2013 – Ordinance Review Committee (ORC). <br />A Planning Board member identified a punctuation error in Section 2.4.1 of the <br />proposed amendment. An error was also identified within the site plan flow chart <br />contained in Section 2.5.2. Staff has modified the proposal accordingly. <br />There was also a general discussion over staff’s recommendation to modify <br />Section 2.4.1 expanding the list of Watershed Protection Overlay Districts <br />requiring a professionally prepared site plan allowing for development. Staff <br />agreed to solicit guidance from the BOCC at the public hearing. <br />March 6, 2013 - Planning Board regular meeting. <br />There was unanimous consensus for ‘Option C’ (i.e. eliminate existing <br />requirement for a professionally prepared site plan in the University Lake <br />Protected Watershed Overlay Districts and based submittal of site plan on land <br />disturbance activities consistent with established stormwater thresholds). The <br />Board deferred making a recommendation until a response from OWASA was <br />received. <br /> <br />April 3, 2013 (recommendation) <br />b. Advisory Boards: <br />Commission for the Environment <br />(CFE) – January 14, 2013. The CFE <br />had no comments related to the <br />proposed amendment. <br /> <br />c. Local Government Review: <br />Courtesy Review – Town(s) of Chapel <br />Hill, Carrboro, Hillsborough, City of <br />Mebane in November of 2012. As of <br />this date no comments have been <br />received. <br /> <br />At the February 25, 2013 Quarterly <br />Public Hearing staff was directed to <br />solicit input from OWASA on the <br />proposed text amendment. OWASA <br />responded on March 21, 2013 they <br />have no concerns over the proposed <br />amendment package. <br /> <br />d.
