It is clear to me to have a chain link fence and parking that is required. <br />Nick Herman: We will go to that in just a second. This is the facility, this rectangular area, is that right? <br />Chad Abbott: Yes sir. <br />Nick Herman: Can you summarize what all this denotes? <br />Chad Abbott: I don’t want to speak for Mr. West but per our conversations, the chain link fence you have open <br />areas up front and then one in the rear. These will be allowed to release dogs from each individual, up to 30 runs <br />at maybe three or four at a time so they can be allowed to exercise and play within a six foot fence. <br />Nick Herman: You understand the initial phasing is intended to be 16 runs for 16 animals that with a potential <br />buildout to a maximum of 30? <br />Chad Abbott: Yes sir. <br />Nick Herman: This fence that surrounds all this is a six foot high chain link fence, is that what that is referring to? <br />Chad Abbott: Provided with vinyl slats for screening. <br />Nick Herman: What does that mean? <br />Chad Abbott: The chain link fence will have vinyl slats vertically running through the links to provide additional <br />screening, noise barrier, etc. <br />Nick Herman: The animals can’t look out and you can’t see them looking in. <br />Chad Abbott: That is the intent. <br />Nick Herman: Did your firm also prepare elevations and will be responsible for the design of this facility? <br />Chad Abbott: Yes sir. <br />Nick Herman: Let’s look quickly at that. There are more to these plans. This is one they have seen but there are <br />other views of it. Briefly explain to the members of the Board what this depicts. <br />Chad Abbott: You have your front entrance coming from the handicap parking space here. That is where Mr. <br />West will have his counter; I guess where he greets guests. As you can see these wings to the side are further <br />back. Looking from this view, these wings will branch out approximately at this location so they can come out of <br />the page. As you can see, the building materials are listed. There will be CMU walls between each kennel so the <br />dogs cannot see each other. <br />Nick Herman: Dogs or cats. <br />
