I believe that's the <br />22 word. It's not this gentleman, it's his partner. <br />23 <br />24 Barry Katz: And this capacity, this is primarily for offloading from UNC? <br />25 <br />26 Rusty Monroe: I do not recall the specifics of that. I believe... I don't recall the specifics so I'd <br />27 rather not answer incorrectly. <br />28 <br />29 Laura Goode: If I could just remind the Board, there is a network objective statement that is in tab <br />30 4 of the application that states the network objective. <br />31 <br />32 Rusty Monroe: Please understand I'm not speaking for or against this, I just want you making an <br />33 informed decision. <br />34 <br />35 Laura Goode: And then the first paragraph of Exhibit or tab 4, it talks about the network objective <br />36 and starting on the second sentence it says, Verizon's wireless objecting in connection with the <br />37 proposed site is to improve coverage along Mount Carmel Church Road between the Governors <br />38 Club area and Chapel Hill, we call it the Clearwater Lake area, as well as to provide capacity for <br />39 the existing UNC Campus Verizon Wireless site. <br />40 <br />41 John Price: It's my understanding, correct me if I'm wrong, but it's my understanding that the <br />42 expert for TowerCom with respect to co- location was referring to there were no other structures on <br />43 which they could co- locate the antenna equipment that would be on this tower. It was not talking <br />44 about DAS or small cells, or micro cells, or any technological alternative. <br />45 <br />46 Laura Goode: So we had two experts. We had one expert that talked about inability to do- locate <br />47 on existing structures, and we had another expert that testified and drafted a statement that's <br />48 contained in this notebook testifying and stating that other technologies, such as DAS and other <br />49 facilities will not meet the network objectives of this site and he testified at the hearing last time <br />OC Board of Adjustment — 12/12/16 Page 123 of 156 <br />
