Approved 12/12/16
OC Board of Adjustment – 10/10/16 Page 77 of 113

Chris Brewer: I think we have 120. 1
2
LeAnne Brown: 120 is your plan and how many are currently planted? 3
4
Chris Brewer: We had 36 that we planted in the spring. 5
6
LeAnne Brown: You had indicated. There was some question in the last hearing about whether there was 7
labor in the projections that were introduced into evidence through Ms. Brewer’s testimony. Where in those 8
materials in that labor indicated? 9
10
Chris Brewer: The materials that she presented? 11
12
LeAnne Brown: Yes. 13
14
Chris Brewer: I don’t think that we put the labor in there. 15
16
LeAnne Brown: So it’s not in her plan in the materials that you introduced into materials, is that correct? 17
18
Chris Brewer: That’s correct. 19
20
LeAnne Brown: You indicated that you had sold about 300 pounds of chestnuts and had 1,000 pounds in 21
inventory. Where are you storing those chestnuts? 22
23
Chris Brewer: The inventory is being store at PFab. 24
25
LeAnne Brown: You indicated in response to Mr. Katz question that although you’re working out at PFab 26
that you plan to conduct this operation in the barn and that you were proposing to build at Morrow Mill or 27
have built at Morrow Mill Road. Where exactly in the barn will you be storing equipment? 28
29
Chris Brewer: The processing equipment? 30
31
LeAnne Brown: Yes. 32
33
Chris Brewer: The kitchen area. 34
35
LeAnne Brown: When you say the kitchen area, is that the kitchen area that is also available to be used by 36
wedding caterers. 37
38
Chris Brewer: Yes, Ma’am. 39
40
LeAnne Brown: And how large is the equipment that you plan to store in the kitchen that the wedding 41
caterers will be using? 42
43
Chris Brewer: So what we’re using now is probably about 3 feet in diameter and about 3 feet tall. The kettle 44
that we use now. We would probably want to get something a little bit larger than that. As we project to 45
have more chestnuts than what we’re producing now. So we would probably want to have a larger kettle. 46
47
LeAnne Brown: In the 4,600 square feet of barn that you are building on Morrow Mill Road how many 48
square feet of that will be devoted to storing this 3 foot by 3 foot piece of equipment in the kitchen? 49
